Guarantees
These are the guarantee terms as set by the recruitment regulation (Ministerial Decision 390/2026) and written in the service contract, each with a plain-language explanation.
Full refund: the first 90 days
Under the recruitment regulation (Ministerial Decision 390/2026), if any of the following occurs within the first 90 days of the worker starting with you, the office refunds the full service amount within 15 days, or, by written agreement, provides a replacement at no extra cost:
- The worker's actual job or conditions differ from the signed job offer
- Refusal to work without acceptable excuse, or leaving without legal cause (the office pays the abandonment-report costs)
- Medical unfitness, a contagious, chronic or mental illness, or pregnancy before starting work
- Assault on the employer or a family member (proven by the authorities)
- Return at the foreign agency's request for reasons not attributable to you
- Natural death during the contract
- Total or partial disability from an illness or condition arising after arrival
Service guarantee: two full years
The service guarantee runs two years (730 days) from the day the worker starts with you. From day 91 to the end of the two years, if any of the cases above occurs:
- The service amount is refunded pro rata to the remaining contract days: (service amount ÷ 730) × remaining days
- Only administrative expenses of up to 1% of the service amount, plus government fees due, may be deducted
- Paid within 15 days of the worker's return to the office
- Or, by written agreement, a replacement whose recruitment costs the office bears in full, guaranteed for the remaining period
- The service contract is insured with an approved insurer; you receive a copy of the policy at signing
Condition: The refund right is lost if there was fraud about the work conditions, salary unpaid for more than two consecutive months (or three in a year), immoral conduct, harassment or violence towards the worker, or a serious workplace danger left unaddressed. The office must be notified within 30 days of the event.
This page is the complete reference for the guarantee terms. The signed contract prevails in case of any difference.
Prices and timelines are estimates and may change according to government regulations and fees and the Minister of Labour's decision fixing the recruitment service amount.
The worker's rights
A clear working relationship that protects both sides
A domestic worker is a party to an employment contract, not a commodity. We commit, and ask our clients to commit, to the following:
- An employment contract and job offer on the Ministry of Labour's model forms, setting working hours, daily rest, the weekly day off, annual leave and accommodation
- Salary paid as contracted and on time
- The passport is hers and stays with her; it may be held only with her written consent
- The office never charges the worker any fee
- An orientation programme on local customs, her rights and duties, and how to reach the office or the authorities in case of a dispute or abuse
- Housing, food and healthcare at the office's cost in the guarantee cases the regulation defines
- Her privacy and dignity are protected at the office
